HARIPUR:
District council members have criticised the government’s decision to shift the proposed dry port project from Haripur to Mansehra and adopted a resolution in this regard. The demand was made during a session of Haripur district council on Thursday. The resolution was presented by district nazim Adil Islam. Speaking on the occasion, he said the federal government had earlier approved construction of a dry port in Haripur as part of the CPEC. However, it later decided to relocate the project to Mansehra. “We will not allow the government to shift the dry port project,” he said.
