According to MQM spokesperson Aminul Haque, Jalil was called by the Rangers at their Headquarters, where the 'meeting' was held for a couple of hours.
"It was held in a cordial manner and was over multiple political issues," Amin said.
However, sources shared that the leader was questioned over several issues including matters related to his last tenure in the local government.

Recently, Jalil had returned from the United Kingdom where he was looking after the party affairs in MQM London office.
Moreover, the MQM leader has filed nomination papers for a LG reserve seat and is expected to be nominated as chairman of the District East, sources said.
