For BKU victims: Three schools to be renamed

This was announced in a district council meeting held on Monday

MARDAN:
The Mardan district government has renamed three government high schools after students who were ruthlessly killed in the attack at Bacha Khan University in Charsadda on January 20. This was announced in a district council meeting held on Monday. Mardan district nazim Himayatullah Mayar proposed Government High School Parkho Dheri be renamed after Shehzad Khan, Government High School Kati Ghari be renamed after Sadiqullah and Government High School Palo Dheri be renamed after Kamran Khan. On the occasion, district councillor Maulana Amant Shah Haqqani presented an amendment showing complete confidence in the district naib nazim which was approved by 60 other members.
