Mysterious attack: PPP MPA escapes 'assassination attempt'

Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Javed Nagori reportedly escaped an assassination attempt on Sunday. However, the police said it was not an attack on Nagori. The incident occurred in Kharadar, district South. Nagori told the media that unidentified armed assailants started firing at his vehicle. However, he escaped unharmed. "It is not the first time that I have been attacked," he said, adding that he will register a police case.  On May last year, Nagori escaped while his younger brother lost his life in an attack at his residence. Kharadar police denied the politician's statements and said the incident was not an attack on Nagori. They said some street criminals fired into the air and fled. No case was registered till late night.
