Pakistan Air Force jets targeted militant hideouts in Data Khel and Shawal valley, says ISPR

At least eight terrorists were killed in fresh air strikes carried out by Pakistan Air Force jets on Sunday.

According to military’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the air blitz hit Data Khel and Shawal areas near Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing eight suspected terrorists.


Earlier on January 8, a large number of local and foreign militants were killed in airstrikes in the border region of North Waziristan, officials said.

38 militants killed in North Waziristan air strikes

Civil officers in the political administration said 38 militants were killed in the strike that targeted hideouts in Meezar and Sherani areas just on the Afghanistan border.
