Actor Denise Richards has filed legal documents, claiming her ex-husband Charlie Sheen evicted her and their children from their home last year. She also asserted that he sent aggressive text messages to their 10-year-old daughter, Lola Rose. The Wild Things actor was married to Sheen for four years and has another daughter, 11-year-old Sam, with him.
Richards claims that Sheen, 50, forced them out of a home he owns, stopped paying into their children’s trust fund and verbally abused their youngest daughter. According to the documents, Sheen had agreed to allow his ex-wife to move into a property he owned next to his home in Mulholland Estates, Beverley Hills. Richards, 44, says she had reservations about the agreement because Sheen had informed her of his HIV status and said he feared he was terminally ill and “wanted to repair his relationship with his children.” She added the relationship turned sour in 2013, when he threatened to give away Sam and Lola’s Christmas presents and also kick the family out of their home.

In the papers filed, Richards states that Sheen texted her children and said, “I’m giving all your gifts including the air hockey table to the homeless.” Richards also allegedly overheard a heated conversation between the actor and Lola, during which he said to her, “I’m going to kill you and I’m going to kill your mom.” Soon after, she moved out of the property Sheen owns [in September last year] and left out of pocket while they rented a home for $15,000 per month.
A spokesperson for the actor said, “Denise is fighting for her children. This has nothing to do with her; the money is for her kids. This is about him providing for the children as he agreed to do.” Meanwhile, Sheen’s lawyer released a statement saying that her statement was a “desperate attempt to get more money.” The lawyer added that the actor has paid almost $20 million to Richards, who also has an adopted daughter, Eloise Joni Richards. The amount includes $660,000 in tax-free money, for the last nine years.

It seems like news regarding the troubled Two and a Half Men actor just keeps mounting. Sheen’s other ex-wife Brooke Mueller has checked into a rehabilitation facility. The 38-year-old is seeking treatment for a yet unknown cause but Sheen’s recent HIV diagnosis was partly blamed for her relapse, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Mueller has been treated for addiction to cocaine and alcohol in the past. She has undergone rehab multiple times and been arrested for both cocaine possession and assault. “The relapse was swift and apparent to everyone immediately,” revealed a source. “Within two weeks of the relapse, Brooke decided to go to rehab herself. This was a huge step because Brooke recognised it,” the source added. There’s no official detail about her stay but rumour has it, it will take at least four months for Mueller to complete the rehabilitation programme.
