Balochistan politics: Powers not delegated to local bodies

QUETTA: Mayor Quetta Metropolitan Corporation Dr Kaleem Ullah Kakar has said that the representatives of the local bodies have not been transferred their administrative powers despite lapse of a complete year. He said this while addressing a press conference following a convention of mayors, deputy mayors and chairmen of Balochistan. He said that the local body representatives are the servants of the masses and they have been elected for solving the masses problems, adding they would go to High Court against non-transfer of power.
