A powerful video, made by Google India, captures moments from a day in the lives of Indians to show how technology is bringing about a change in the developing nation.

The video, which was screened during Sundar Pichai's keynote at Google For India, displays scenes from villages, urban cities and citizens, who speak about the benefits of using the internet in a country where only 33% of the total population of approximately 1.27 billion are internet users. It builds a contrast between agro-based villages and metropolitan cities to show the progress that India is making.

One of the participants says, “I am a citizen of a very great and wise country and I am proud of it." In another clip, a young boy explains how he and his friends use his neighbour’s WiFi, showing the eagerness of the country’s citizens to reap the benefits of the internet.
An old man shares his thoughts on the transformation taking place in India. He says, “The pace at which our India is moving, I could have never imagined it.”
