NADRA issues CNICs at doorsteps
Mobile van of National Database and Registration Authority will stay in Shaheed Benazirabad district till January 22
NAWABSHAH:
The mobile van of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) will stay in Shaheed Benazirabad district till January 22 to provide computerised national identity cards (CNICs) at peoples’ doorsteps.
This was announced by NADRA’s regional head office in Sukkur in a statement issued on Monday. The van is visiting different union councils of Nawabshah taluka and Daur taluka to issue CNICs to citizens.
Govt launches service to deliver passports at your doorstep
The regional head office’s officials appealed to the general public to contact the NADRA mobile van incharge, Faisal Majeed, in connection with the issuance of CNICs.
A home delivery service for passports in Karachi was launched in December by the private courier service, TCS, in collaboration with the government and the National Bank of Pakistan.
The same service was inaugurated in Islamabad by interior minister Chaudary Nisar Ali Khan on November 26 this year.
