Reorganisation: PML-Q dissolves provincial body
PML-Q, led by the Chaudhry brothers of Gujrat, has been non-functional in Sindh
KARACHI:
The newly-elected president of Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid (PML-Q), Asad Khan Junejo, dissolved the provincial body of the party on Sunday. According to the party’s spokesperson, the provincial PML-Q leadership has decided to reorganise the party in Sindh and elections at the district and division level will be held soon. Junejo, who is the son of former prime minister Mohammad Khan Junejo, said they would start visiting various areas of Sindh in order to spread awareness about citizens’ rights, bad governance and other issues. PML-Q, led by the Chaudhry brothers of Gujrat, has been non-functional in Sindh since its provincial head, Haleem Adil Shaikh, resigned some time ago.
