Giving back: Free medical camp organised by Sindh police

Philanthropist Imran Abbas extended assistance for the successful establishment of the camp

More than 3,300 policemen and their family members benefited from a free three-day medical camp at the Police Headquarters, Garden, according to welfare AIG Irum Awan in a statement issued on Sunday.


The camp was organised under the directives of IG Ghulam Haider Jamali in collaboration with a local hospital.

Philanthropist Imran Abbas extended assistance for the successful establishment of the camp.

Awan said during the camp, OPDs for children, heart, kidney, dental, eye, gynaecological and general diseases were held.

"Free medicines were also given to the patients after examination," she added. She also revealed that as many as five patients were referred for cardiac surgery to the South City Hospital free-of-charge. Awan thanked the visiting doctors on behalf of the IG and Sindh Police.
