Visit postponed: Inauguration of three hydro power projects delayed
According to the PTI central secretariat, the visit was cancelled due to inclement weather

The inauguration of three micro hydropower projects was delayed for an indefinite period as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan’s visit to Battagram was postponed on Sunday. According to party sources, Imran was due in Battagram between 1-1:30pm where he was to inaugurate a 150KW hydropower project in Rashang village and 75KW project in Pitaow village which have been completed and tested successfully for power generation to benefit the local population. According to district administration, on the same day the PTI chief was also going to participate in the inauguration ceremony of 500 KW micro hydropower project in Biyari village as a chief guest. However, according to the PTI central secretariat, the visit was cancelled due to inclement weather.

When approached for comments, Battagram District Police Officer Raja Saboor Khan confirmed Imran’s visit was cancelled.
