Hashish Smuggling Case : ANF official granted bail
Sagheer Ahmed, facing charges of smuggling 1.25 kilograms of hashish
RAWALPINDI:
A Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench granted bail to an employee of the Anti-Narcotics Force in a hashish smuggling case. The division bench comprising Justice Abdus Sami Khan and Justice Shahid Abbasi granted bail against two surety bonds of Rs100,000 each to Sagheer Ahmed, facing charges of smuggling 1.25 kilograms of hashish. His counsel Hasnain Murtaza and Zubair Ahmed argued their client has been arrested only on suspicion and had nothing to do with the smuggling bid.
