Police have registered two separate FIRs on Thursday against the proscribed organisations that claimed responsibility for the Satellite Town suicide attack which left 15 persons dead, including 13 policemen, and 25 injured.
“The detained persons are being questioned in connection with Wednesday’s attack,” a police officer said.

Two militant groups - the Khorasan group of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Jundullah, which has links with the Taliban and has pledged allegiance to Islamic State - separately claimed responsibility for the attack on the polio centre.

As a preliminary to the investigation process, police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel carried out a search operation and apprehended 10 suspects from Goharabad area of Saryab locality late on Wednesday night.
“The detained persons are being questioned in connection with Wednesday’s attack,” a police officer said.
