Three lion clubs were born on Wednesday at Lahore Zoo. The cubs were born to African lions Ricky and Kajal. “We examined the cubs today. They are doing well and being attended to by their mother,” Lahore Zoo Veterinary Doctor Samuel Shahzad said. Of the three cubs, one is a male while the others are female, he said. “Kajal is the most fertile lioness at the zoo. She has birthed eight cubs here to date,” Shahzad said. Kajal had been shifted to the facility from the Safari Park in 2012 under an exchange programme.
