Death toll in the traffic accident rises to three
Two critically injured were referred to the District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi

In the first incident, a speeding passenger bus (SNG-291) coming from Talagang hit a rickshaw carrying girl students of a local seminary near Balkassar bus stop, seriously injuring three students and the rickshaw driver. The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Chakwal, where doctors pronounced Zaibun Nisa, 10, and the rickshaw driver, Abdul Aziz, dead on arrival. The bus driver fled the scene.
The local police have registered a case against the bus driver on complaint of Shaukat Yousaf, the deceased girl’s uncle.
In the second incident, five persons were seriously injured when two speeding cars collided with each other on Chakwal Road in Chakwal. The injured were shifted to a local hospital. Two critically injured were referred to the District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi, however, one of them died on way to the hospital, police said.
Meanwhile, three women were critically injured in the Jabi area of Chakwal when their speeding car rammed into a truck on a road. The women were taken to a local hospital, where their condition was stated to be critical.
