Training sessions: NAVTCC to shift focus on marketable skills

Stressed that effectiveness of monitoring has been enhanced to ensure quality training

The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Executive Director Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema has said that they have shifted the commission’s focus towards demand driven training and is imparting training in marketable skills.


He stressed that effectiveness of monitoring has been enhanced to ensure quality training.  He added that NAVTTC was set to hold skill competitions and job fairs in the month of January and February across the country to bring the trainees and employees at one place that would ensure maximum employability. He was talking on Tuesday at the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC)’s 14th Board of Management (BoM) meeting at its headquarters where Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Engineer Balighur Rehman was also present.
