An election tribunal set up to dispose of complaints related to local government elections is yet to start functioning. The tribunal was set up in mid December and Muhammad Akram Awan was appointed the tribunal judge. However, no courtroom and staff has been provided to the tribunal so far, delaying the hearing into election-related cases.
