Appointment: Khalid Khattak appointed acting IG
Sultan Raja is being considered for the post
ISLAMABAD:
The government on Monday appointed deputy inspector general (headquarters) Khalid Khattak acting inspector general of Islamabad Police. Former IG Tahir Alam Khan had retired on January 8. Khattak has been given the acting charge before a permanent IG is appointed. Sources say Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer Fakhar Sultan Raja is being considered for the post.
