KARACHI:
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has approved a grant of Rs1.9 billion for 19 public sector universities to complete their development schemes.
The secretary to the CM for universities and boards, Iqbal Durani, held a meeting with the universities’ vice-chancellors on October 10 to review their ongoing schemes.
These universities include Liaqat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Karachi University, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University, Dow University of Engineering, Science and Technology, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Shah Abdul Latif University, University of Sindh, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University of Law and the Institute of Business Administration in Sukkur and Karachi.
