Fear: Pro-Daesh vandalism scares citizen

Iqbal Town DSP Rana Ashfaq said police had spoken to the house owner who said he had no links to the organisation

LAHORE:
Some unidentified people wrote Daesh Zindabad on the gate of a house in Iqbal Town on Saturday, police said. Police said a resident of Hunza Block had filed a complaint about the vandalism. Police visited the site and recorded statements of witnesses.  No case had been registered in this regard until the filing of this report. Iqbal Town DSP Rana Ashfaq said police had spoken to the house owner who said he had no links to the organisation. “He says he had a dispute over property and suspected that his rival might have vandalised the gate,” the DSP said.
