Mission successful: Kidnapped boy rescued with in a day
The child, who belongs to a wealthy family, was abducted on Friday

The police succeeded in rescuing a seven-year-old boy, who was abducted from a bazaar in Pabbi, Nowshera, while he was on his way to his school Friday morning. Five kidnappers, including two facilitators, were arrested on Saturday. Police also confiscated the vehicle and ammunition used in the kidnapping of Ali Raza.
While briefing the media in his office in Nowshera city, DPO Wahid Mahmood said Ali belongs to a wealthy family in Pabbi. Ali’s grandfather is the owner of Falak Traders, a well-established business in the town. He was abducted for ransom by unidentified persons Friday morning while he was on his way to school.
Soon after Ali was kidnapped, a team was put together under the supervision of DSP Adnan Azam. After conducting a thorough investigation, the police succeeded in catching one of the suspects, Nabi, who helped them arrest another man involved identified as Imran. The police eventually rescued Ali from Jaroba, a town near Pabbi.
In addition to Nabi and Imran, another accomplice Ayaz was also arrested. Law-enforcement agencies have not disclosed names of the two facilitators due to secuirty reasons.
The DPO and the owner of Falak Traders announced cash prizes for the DSP and his team who rescued the boy within 12 hours. An FIR was registered and further investigation is under way.
