Model Town Killings: Court reserves verdict on PAT’s petition
The PAT counsel told the court police had registered two FIRs of the incident

An anti-terrorism court on Thursday reserved its verdict on a petition moved by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) challenging proceedings on the second FIR of the Model Town killings June 2014. The PAT counsel told the court police had registered two FIRs of the incident. He said one of the FIRs had been registered against PAT leaders. He said the accused had been indicted without being provided record of the case. He said proceedings on the second FIR against the PAT leaders were illegal. He requested the court to stop proceedings. After hearing both sides, Judge Khawaja Zafar Iqbal reserved the verdict.
