Training classes: Nomad opens doors for amateurs

The drawing and painting classes will include figurative, humanity anatomy, portrait making, still life drawing etc

ISLAMABAD: The Nomad Art Gallery will start month-long classes in January to facilitate art lovers, students and amateur artists of the capital city for polishing their extra skills. The courses will feature drawing and painting course, print making and photography course, in which the participants will be exposed to creative and artistic activity to explore and express their hidden creative potential. The drawing and painting classes will include figurative, humanity anatomy, portrait making, still life drawing, painting techniques etc, whereas the print making and photography workshops will include design aesthetic and colour theory, wood cut and lineout printing, techniques and tools study, image making, and brief introduction of Japanese woodcut. These classes will engage the young minds in healthy activities, said an official of the gallery.
