PESHAWAR:
At least four people, including a tribal elder, were gunned down in Shaktoyee, South Waziristan on Thursday.

Preliminary reports from the tribal belt suggest that Malik Wali Khan was returning to his hujra after attending a jirga when unidentified persons in an ambush opened indiscriminate firing, killing him and three others instantly.

Meanwhile, political administration also confirmed the incident of firing.

Earlier on October 27, seven personnel of Frontier Corps were killed while three others were injured due to firing from the Afghan side of the border in Angoor Adda area of South Waziristan Agency.
