Journalist caught 'watching porn' in media box during Melbourne Test
The revelation comes days after Chris Gayle was fined for asking reporter out for a drink during a live TV interview

Guardian Australia deputy sports editor Russell Jackson wrote in a blog on Guardian.com, that he witnessed a person in the media box at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) watching porn during the third day of the Test match.
Russell said that the individual, who is an accredited member of the media sitting, was watching porn while creating the match report.
“Last week in the MCG press box I was staggered to note, on the third morning of the Test vs West Indies, for the entire day thereafter, an accredited member of the media sitting in front of me tapping away at his company laptop, but tabbing between his match report and a constant stream of hardcore pornography,” wrote Russell.

He expressed that he could hardly believe what he was seeing, as the media box was full of journalists. The person in question was sitting some meters from the person who was watching hardcore porn on his laptop.
“I could barely believe what I was seeing,” wrote Russell. “The thing that initially staggered me was the sheer audacity of it, that the presence of both female and male colleagues, who were sitting meters away with clear views of his screen, hadn’t been enough to deter him and that he felt perfectly comfortable doing it in full view.”

The revelation comes days after the former West Indian captain Chris Gayle was fined $7,000 for asking out Network Ten reporter Mel McLaughlin for a drink during a live TV interview.
The 36-year-old appologised to McLaughlin, who accepted his apology but the left-handed opener found himself in trouble once again, when few more female reporters accused the Jamaican of approaching them with a similar kind of offer.
