Liaquat Bagh revisited
ISLAMABAD:
A three-member state fact finding committee probing into the murder of the late Benazir Bhutto visited the scene of the crime at Rawalpindi's Liaquat Bagh on Saturday.
Headed by Cabinet Secretary Abdul Rauf Chaudhry, the committee members talked to various security officials on site. Strict security arrangements were made on the occasion, where Former Rawalpindi SHO Kashif Riaz briefed the members on the sequence of events and security measures.
Prime Minister Gilani formed the committee to probe into who ordered the hosing down of the crime scene following the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. The committee was given a 7-day deadline to prepare the report, and is expected to hand over it's findings on May 4th.
