Attempted murder : Case sought against political bigwigs

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Ichhra SHO in connection with a citizen’s petition against several political heavyweights. Petitioner Tauqeer Ahmed said he was on his way to college on his motorcycle when two men had pushed him in Ichhra area. He said he fell on the road and the men had tried to kill him. He said they had been raising slogans associated with several politicians while pushing him. The petitioner said he had approached police in vain to have an FIR registered against leaders of political parties.
