The artist, known for his hit song "Save Me," expressed frustration over the industry’s practices, stating, "Learned a lot about how slimy the music business is this week, don’t worry yall know I’m going to expose it soon." He further emphasized, "This whole thing is smoke and mirrors yall," referencing rapper Russ, with whom he previously collaborated, saying, "All that sh-t Russ be talking about is REAL!"

Jelly Roll, who rose to fame in 2021 with his album Ballad of the Broken, has had a tumultuous journey, spending years in and out of prison before finding success in both hip hop and country music. In an earlier interview with Fox News Digital, he credited his faith in God as the driving force behind his career. "I just always had faith that God had a bigger purpose for what I was trying to do," he said.
