
He said this while talking to the media during a visit to Bibi Ziarat where two police personnel were gunned down by gunmen. He said that cooperation of the masses was necessary for the eradication of crimes and improvement of law and order, adding that police personnel laid down their lives for the protection of the life and property of the masses.

He also said that the police are complying with the orders of the government issued for the eradication of terrorism, adding that the ideal of peace could only be achieved if the masses also extend their cooperation to the police.

Meanwhile, Director Customs Intelligence Balochistan Irfan ur Rehman revealed that the Customs authorities in Balochistan have impounded drugs worth 200 million rupees in a span of two weeks along with two vehicles.

Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Tuesday, he said that customs intelligence is working day and night to bring to an end the drug trade despite having little human resource.
