Tragic: Man killed in road accident

The police handed over Khan’s body to his family after medico-legal formalities

A 65-year-old died after he was struck by a taxi and dumper truck in Dheri Hassanabad, Rawalpindi, on Monday. Muhammad Afzal lodged a complaint with the RA Bazaar police stating that his father, Adalat Khan, was travelling on his bicycle when a speeding taxi hit him, causing him to collide with the truck. Khan died of injuries on his way to the district headquarters hospital. The police handed over Khan’s body to his family after medico-legal formalities. A case has been registered.
