Bad Bread: Poisonous feed kills 46 buffaloes

Sources said the incident took place in Tarlai

ISLAMABAD: As many as 46 buffaloes died, and over 50 fell ill after having consumed poisonous leftovers in the Tarlai Kalan area of Islamabad. Sources said the incident took place in Tarlai, where 22 buffaloes owned by a man named Riaz, eight buffaloes of Muhammad Ehsan, six buffaloes of Mazhar Hussain, and 10 buffaloes of Mumtaz Ahmed died. In addition, 50 buffaloes owned by Muhammad Arif fell ill after consuming the toxic bread. The owners of the dead and affected cattle told the local police that they had brought the leftover bread from a shop run by Saeed Khan in Burma Town.
