Embezzlement: Two involved in ghost schemes held
Aziz was involved in ghost development projects in NA-29, Mingora
PESHAWAR:
National Accountability Bureau Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa arrested a contractor Muhammad Aimal Khan, son of former MNA Muzaffarul Mulk and Pakistan Public Works Batkhela sub-engineer Nisar Aziz. Aziz was involved in ghost development projects in NA-29, Mingora and caused a loss of millions of rupees to the public exchequer. This was stated in a press release issued on Wednesday. Pakistan Public Works Department Batkhela awarded various development schemes to Muhammad Aimal Khan, owner of M/S National Builders. All these schemes were shown as having been executed in the records, however, investigation revealed they were either substandard or ghost schemes.
