On a tip-off: Four 'target killers' arrested during raid

Rangers spokesperson claims that the accused were involved in sectarian based targeted killings in the city

Rangers claim to have arrested four alleged target killers during the ongoing targeted operations and raids in the metropolis on Wednesday.



The suspects were apprehended during a targeted raid conducted by the paramilitary force on a tip-off in PECHS. According to the Rangers spokesperson, the raid was conducted on the basis of information provided by suspects that are in the custody of the Rangers.


The identification of the suspects and the group to which they are affiliated with was not disclosed, however the spokesperson claimed that the accused were involved in sectarian based targeted killings in the city. The paramilitary force also seized weapons from their possession and shifted the suspects to an undisclosed location. Further investigation is underway.

On the other hand, officials of the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell (AHTC) of the Federal Investigation Agency arrested a suspect during a raid at Cantt Station in Karachi.
