
Officials from the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA), Islamabad Zone, have arrested a woman and two others on charges of human smuggling, and recovered as many as 29 passports from their possession.
According to an FIA official, the trio were apprehended from the Royal Plaza on Sixth Road.
The suspects include Shabnum Bibi, a resident of Dhanda, Murree, from whom five passports were recovered.
Imran Muhammad, the second suspect, belongs to Khariyan, and was in possession of four passports. The third suspect is Mustaq Hussain, from whom as many as 20 passports were recovered. Separate cases have been registered against all three suspects. The FIA has charged the trio on human smuggling charges.
