In custody: Dacoit arrested in Karak

KARAK: The mastermind of a dacoit group was arrested by the police within the jurisdiction of Banda Daud Shah police station in Karak on Tuesday. Stolen goods were also recovered from his possession. Rehmatullah, a taxi driver, told the police he was hired to take a passenger from DI Khan to Kohat. However, the passenger turned out to be a dacoit who tried to snatch his mobile phone and vehicle. Following the complaints, a search operation was launched in various cities where the dacoit was believed to be hiding. He was successfully arrested in Karak and has been identified as Shaheenullah.
