Birth anniversary: Mamnoon visits Quaid’s mazaar

KARACHI: President Mamnoon Hussain visited the mausoleum of the Founder of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 139th birth anniversary. Sindh Governor Dr Ishartul Ebad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah received the president. Mamnoon laid a wreath at the Mazaar and also offered Fateha. He also recorded his impressions in the visitors’ book.  He said under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-i-Azam,  the Muslims of the Asian sub-continent got a separate homeland and that his name would always be written in the annals of history with golden words. Schoolchildren presented national songs on the occasion. President Mamnoon met the school children and appreciated their efforts and national fervour.
