Forensic lab by March 31
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif lauds forensic lab, terms it “most modern forensic lab in South Asia".

“The most modern forensic lab in South Asia is being established in the provincial metropolis."
"It will prove a milestone in the eradication of crime from the country,” said Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday.
The chief minister said that the project of setting up an international standard forensic lab was of vital importance which would not only help curb crime but also trace the criminals. A briefing was given by Nayyar Mehmood, the project director. The inspector general of police, the home secretary, and the secretary health also attended the briefing.
Mehmood said that the setting up of the forensic lab was an important step in this direction. He said that most of the project work would be completed by March 31.
