Kunal Kapoor to stage play in Pakistan

Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor's play Ek Punjab Yeh Bhi will soon jet off on a tour of Pakistan, the US and Canada and he couldn't be more excited to enthrall international audiences.

The Rang De Basanti fame star recently wowed Indian audiences with his performance in the play at a stage play held in Mumbai earlier this month.

The play is inspired by Ali Akbar Natiq’s Urdu short stories and the production is expected to leave for the tour in April or May next year.

“We put a lot of passion and hard work into this, and I'm really happy with how people have reacted to it. We have had a number of offers to tour other cities and countries and I am really looking forward to that," Kunal said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Kunal will also start shooting for his first action movie in South Indian cinema soon.
