Rocket Internet’s classifieds app Sparklist partners with Telenor

Telenor customers can download and use the peer-to-peer classifieds app for free

Rocket Internet’s classifieds mobile app Sparklist on Tuesday announced its partnership with telecom company Telenor Pakistan.

The partnership allows Telenor’s customers in Pakistan to download and use the peer-to-peer classifieds app for free. Users can also download the app through the Telenor app store.

Sparklist aims to tap growing market


Sparklist Managing Director Nallakkumar Karunanithy said that Telenor’s goals matched with those of his company. “We can offer a product that’s secure, practical and totally free of charges, enabling people to buy and sell in their area, no matter where they are,” he said.

Rocket Internet launches mobile classifieds app Sparklist in Pakistan

Launched only six weeks ago in Pakistan, the app allows buyers and sellers in an area to use the built-in chat feature to work out deals and build trust. At the launch, Karunanithy had said that monetization would not be the focus for "at least the next six months", with user acquisition taking precedence.
