LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Punjab organiser Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said on Tuesday that negligence of Health Department officials had led to death of 17 children at Children Hospital. He said the deaths reported in the last 48 hours could have been prevented had the hospital been equipped with required facilities.  Sarwar demanded registration of murder cases against the Health Department officials concerned. He criticised the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and accused it of poor governance in the province. He said the government was good only at sloganeering and publishing advertisements in the newspapers. He was speaking to delegations of party workers at the Chairman’s Secretariat on Tuesday. Sarwar said the PTI was the only political party which had a long-term vision for the country. He said only the PTI was capable of resolving the long-standing issues plaguing the country’s economy.
