Official Meeting: Rangers DG promises peace on Christmas

The delegation discussed security concerns in the wake of forthcoming Christmas and lauded the Rangers

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, director-general (DG) Major General Bilal Akbar assured the Christian community of full support for peace during Christmas. He was talking to a five-member delegation of the Christian community led by Archbishop of Karachi, Rt Rev Joseph Coutts, which called on Akbar at the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, headquarters on Tuesday. The delegation discussed security concerns in the wake of forthcoming Christmas and lauded the Rangers’ efforts in bringing back peace to the city. The Rangers spokesperson said that the Rangers DG assured them of full support for peace during Christmas. Earlier on Friday, a seven-member delegation of the All Karachi Tajir Ittehad met Akbar at Rangers Headquarters.
