Horoscope: December 22, 2015

Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

In mid-November your ruler Mars moved to into your opposite sign of Libra, beginning a cycle that’s been all about balancing others’ ideas, objectives and needs with your own. While in some situations this has been easy, those you’re currently facing are both perplexing and far more challenging to resolve.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

Only weeks ago you’d have sidestepped provocative topics, at least with certain already uptight individuals. Over the past few days, however, so much has come up and so much has had to be discussed frankly that there’s little point in being discreet. Rather, the more forthright you can be, the better.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

As a Gemini, you always have a comeback, even for those who’re being impossible. However, judging by the current tense mood, you’re urged to be uncharacteristically cautious about what you say, especially in jest. Dull as it seems, for now, you’re better off sticking to topics of a practical nature.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

You may already have discussed certain complex issues, so much you fear others aren’t really listening to what you say. They have been and, even more, are trying to come up with solutions. Their silence is because they’re working hard on these and hoping to surprise you with good news.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

Between the Sun’s move to accent various practical obligations and Friday’s Full Moon, which heightens the urgency of certain matters, you could easily panic. Don’t. While you’ll need to deal with these over the coming four weeks or so, there’s no rush. Actually, you’re better off taking things slowly.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

Judging by the unsettling aspects currently being formed by your ruler Mercury, life isn’t about making perfect plans, it’s about what you learn in the process. Knowing that, regard what you’re organising as more of an experiment than a plan, and instead of worrying about details, you’ll adopt an adventurous approach.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

Although as a Libra, your capacity for being gracious is legendary, when somebody is annoying, you can be surprisingly forthright. While, in certain situations, you might have good reason to confront others, think carefully about what’s your responsibility. They may not be ready to hear everything you have to say.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Few things annoy you more than those who chatter a lot and ignore others. Now, however, you’ve got to deal with somebody who does exactly that. Tempting as it is to tune them out, some of what they say will be important, if not crucial. Listen to them. You’ll learn a lot.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Certain practical or financial matters need attention but you’ve never got around to it. This is understandable. They’re not only dull, you fear it will be bad news. This Friday’s Full Moon could heighten those anxieties. Once you’re calmer, however, make a point of tackling these. You’ll be glad you did.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

The practical earth sign side of your nature can get embarrassed by excessive feelings, especially those of a sentimental variety. Yet you’re beginning a period during which both events and the words of others are likely to be moving. Rather than battle the resulting emotions, try to enjoy them.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Don’t be surprised if the behaviour of certain individuals is getting to you. While there’s no question they’re being irritating, you’re somewhat on edge and will be increasingly so until the Full Moon, on Friday, brings things to a head. The resulting discussions may be dramatic but they’ll clear the air.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

While there’s a lot to be said for being polite, it can result in confusion, at least now. In the past certain individuals, possibly you, sidestepped difficult issues, hoping they’d resolve themselves. They won’t. True, raising these will require forthright, if not upsetting, discussions. However, there really is no choice.
