Carrying liquor: FIR quashed against man

The court acquitted the man after his lawyer told the judge he had a permit to carry up to six bottles of liquor

A judicial magistrate on Sunday quashed an FIR against a man.

Khana police had produced him before the court submitting that they had arrested him for carrying liquor.



The court acquitted the man after his lawyer told the judge he had a permit to carry up to six bottles of liquor.


He said his client was carrying three bottles at the time of his arrest.
