Convicted: Two imprisoned for defrauding public
They were also been directed to pay Rs100,000 fine

A judge convicted two men on Saturday of defrauding four people. According to the prosecution, Liaquat Ali, Jahangir and Muddassir, residents of Tandlianwala, had received Rs1.1 million from four people, residents of Samundri, by promising to send them abroad. They never sent them abroad and did not return the money. The Federal Investigation Agency had registered a case and submitted a challan against the suspects. During the trial, they had returned the money to the victims. On Saturday, the judge awarded one year imprisonment to the suspects. They were also been directed to pay Rs100,000 fine.
