Qualified: Pakistani engineers at par with FEIAP
PEC Chairman said that the achievement would be helpful for Pakistani engineers to get better job opportunities

Pakistan has been recognised by the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and Pacific (FEIAP) in its meeting held at Penang, Malaysia. The FEIAP accreditation system has been supported by the United Nation Education Scientific Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which aims to give equal status of Engineering Qualification among member countries. In a high level meeting held on Thursday, the Director UNESCO for Asia, Africa and Pacific region Dr Shahbaz Khan termed recognition of Pakistan’s Engineering Qualification by FEIAP at international level as a great success. Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Engineering Council Chairman Jawed Qureshi said that the achievement would be helpful for Pakistani engineers to get better job opportunities.
