Newspapers Society: APNS holiday announcement
Saturday, December 26, will be a non-publication day in lieu of Eid Miladun Nabi
KARACHI:
All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) secretary general Sarmad Ali said Eid Miladun Nabi will fall on Thursday, December 24, followed by Quaid-e-Azam Day on the next day i.e. Friday, December 25. In view of special editions scheduled for the Quaid’s birth anniversary, the APNS has decided that member publications will bring out their issues on Friday whereas Saturday, December 26, will be a non-publication day in lieu of Eid Miladun Nabi. Consequently, there will be no morning newspapers on Saturday whereas the eveningers may bring out their issues on the same day.
