Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday sought a reply from the federal government on a petition seeking action to save forests and build new dams. Petitioner Kashif Solomani said, “a huge quantity of flood water falls into the sea in the absence of dams every year.” He requested the court to order the government to build more dams and increase forest cover.
