Condolence reference: APS tragedy united the nation: Ejaz

This attack also dispelled the notion of good and bad Taliban

LAHORE: A condolence reference to commemorate the attack on the Army Public School Peshawar was organised by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday. Ejaz Chaudhry, the political adviser to the PTI chairman, said that the APS massacre had united the nation in its fight against terrorism. “The terrorist attack marked a new chapter in the history of the country by removing differences amongst all segments of the society. We will not forget the martyrs. We will never forget their sacrifices,” he said. “This attack also dispelled the notion of good and bad Taliban,” he said. MPA Shanila Ruth and former MNA Mehnaz Rafi were also present. Prayers were also said for the departed souls during the reference. PTI leader Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that martyrs of the Army Public School, Peshawar, were true heroes of Pakistan. In a statement, Sarwar said that the party was committed in its support to fighting terrorism.
