Culture: Theatre Festival to start on 16th
Ajoka Theatre’s executive director said the festival was part of Ajoka Theatre’s Empower Theatre Project

The Youth Theatre Festival is being held to promote meaningful theatre among the youth, Ajoka Theatre’s executive director Shahid Nadeem said on Monday. He was speaking at Books n Beans about the festival scheduled from December 16-20 at Alhamra Cultural Complex. He said the festival was part of Ajoka Theatre’s Empower Theatre Project. He said with the project the group intended to promote theatre among small-cities youth. Recalling the terrorist attack at Army Public School, Nadeem said December of 2014 was remembered mostly as a tragic month. However, he said one should not forget the good things that happen amid all the bad.
